Your personal vet in Sollentuna

Sollentuna Veterinärklinik is a personal small animal clinic located in Häggvik. Here, you and your pet receive attentive care and continuity by seeing the same vet at each visit.

The clinic is run by licensed vet Marie-Louise Svärd and veterinary assistant Kalle Svärd. We offer examinations, vaccinations, ID marking, neutering, inspections, EU pet passports, and official certificates for travelling abroad.

We carefully schedule appointments to allow sufficient time for each patient. When possible, we also assist with urgent cases.

The clinic is situated at Studievägen 2 in Häggvik, conveniently close to commuter trains, buses, and parking facilities.

Marie-Louise Svärd née Drugge, licensed vet and official veterinary surgeon

Marie-Louise is a licensed veterinary surgeon, trained at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala. After several years at larger clinics, she sought to establish a smaller practice offering closer contact between vet, animal, and owner.

In spring 2010, Sollentuna Veterinärklinik opened in Häggvik. Since then, the aim has remained the same: a personal approach, consistent care, and reassurance by seeing the same vet.

Marie-Louise is an official veterinary surgeon and regularly assists owners with health certificates and other documentation for travel with dogs and cats, mainly to countries outside the EU.

Animals have always been an important part of her life. Outside the clinic, dogs, cats and horses are close by, and she enjoys spending her free time outdoors.

Kalle Svärd, veterinary assistant

Kalle has been with Sollentuna Veterinärklinik since it opened in spring 2010 and works as a veterinary assistant and general all-rounder.

He helps with bookings, customer contact, administration, finance, the website, and daily clinic operations. Many clients recognise Kalle as the voice on the phone, the helper in the shop, and the person ensuring everything runs smoothly around patient visits.

His interest in animals dates back to childhood and is shared by his family. Kalle is also active in the Home Guard. On "Uniform at Work Day," the veterinary assistant may be seen in a very different uniform to his usual one.
